On July 1, 2010, Yanik was selected to provide Professional Services to North Valley Health Center, Warren, MN, for their replacement Critical Access Hospital.

Colleen Spike of St. Peter was recognized June 29 at the Minnesota Rural Health Conference in Duluth for her outstanding contributions to rural health care.
Spike received the Minnesota Rural Health Hero award for her role as a champion of small rural hospitals. Under Spike's guidance as chief executive officer, River's Edge Hospital & Clinic grew from a 38-bed facility to a 30-acre health care campus providing care for St. Peter, all of Le Sueur and Nicollet counties and portions of Blue Earth and Sibley counties.
In nominating Spike, Chester Yanik of Yanik Companies said, "Colleen is a true rural health care hero who has worked collaboratively to change the health care landscape in St. Peter and the surrounding area."

Yanik is pleased to announce that the Riverwood Healthcare Center, Aitkin, MN, signed a Professional Services Agreement. This Critical Access Hospital will be renovating and expanding their current facility.
Ground Breaking for BHS in St. Peter, MN

On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, the Benedictine Living Community of St. Peter will have the Ground Breaking for their new Senior Housing with Services facility. This 54,000 sq. ft. facilty will have 46 apartment-style units, underground parking and will be attached to the River's Edge Hospital and Clinic. Congratulations!

Our panel members will be John Curran, VP of Yanik; Linda Nelsen, Administrator/CEO, Benedictine Living Community of St. Peter, MN and John Monson, VP of Rural Finance, AgStar.
We will discuss the elements essential to successfully develop, finance, construct and operate a vibrant campus. Campuses need to be warm, safe, responsive, efficient and inviting for your community's seniors, their families and your staff. We will focus on "real world" projects/concepts needed to create a multi-service and integrated campus that will be affordable and financeable.

William Newton Hopital Renovation Opens!

Winfield, Kansas, and the surrounding community, got their first look at the newly renovated patient wing at William Newton Hospital at the ribbon cutting ceremony on December 4th. This is the first time that state of the art Wellness Environments has been used in Kansas. Yanik acted as the Design/Builder on this 10,300 square foot second floor renovation. Nineteen rooms, two specialty bariatric rooms, new generator, nurse call, medical gas and medical vacuum system were included in the renovation, as well as a new HVAC system, fire sprinkler system and all new lighting.
Ringgold County Hospital, replacement Critical Access Hospital to open!

Ringgold County Hosital in Mt. Ayr, IA, is having a ribbon cutting on December, 13, 2009 and the Grand Opening December, 20. This aerial photo shows the hospital with its heat-reflecting white roof.

Main Street Dental approves land purchase.

On October 23rd, Main Street Dental approved the purchase agreement for 1.49 acres of land in New Prague, MN. This property, located on the east side of New Prague on Alton Ave and HWY 19, is to be the location of a new dental clinic office building. Yanik Companies is the Design/Builder for the new building and would like to congratulate Main Street Dental on the successful approval.
